Project Overview

The Las Vegas Greek Food Festival is one of the city’s most established cultural events, bringing together food, entertainment, community, and Greek heritage for an annual weekend celebration.

Sage Digital Agency was initially engaged to improve the festival’s website and digital presence. The relationship quickly expanded into a broader event-marketing partnership focused on increasing awareness, generating advance ticket sales, growing attendance, and creating a repeatable system the festival could build upon each year.

Bringing the Vision to Life

For Las Vegas Greek Food Festival, Sage brought strategy, design, content, and functionality together into a cohesive digital experience built around the project’s goals and audience.

The Challenge

The festival had a strong reputation and a loyal community following, but its digital presence was not effectively supporting its growth.

The existing website felt outdated, provided a poor mobile experience, and did not adequately communicate the scale, excitement, or personality of the event. Important information was available, but the website was not functioning as a persuasive marketing tool.

More importantly, the festival had historically relied heavily on traditional awareness, community recognition, and walk-up attendance. The previous year generated virtually no advance ticket sales, limiting the festival’s ability to forecast attendance, communicate with attendees, and build a valuable database for future events.

The challenge was not simply to redesign the website. It was to create a coordinated digital strategy that could increase ticket sales, expand the festival’s reach, and turn one-time attendees into a long-term audience.

Our Proposed Solution

Sage proposed a comprehensive website and digital marketing strategy centered around three primary objectives:

  1. Modernize the festival’s website and improve the mobile user experience.
  2. Generate meaningful advance ticket sales before the festival began.
  3. Increase overall attendance through paid media, social content, influencer partnerships, and stronger event promotion.

The website would serve as the central destination for event information and ticket purchasing, while a coordinated marketing campaign would create awareness and continuously direct prospective attendees toward the festival.

Rather than treating the website, advertising, video content, and influencer outreach as separate efforts, Sage managed them as one integrated campaign.

How We Delivered

Website Redesign

We redesigned and rebuilt the festival website to better capture the energy and character of the event.

The new website provided a clearer mobile experience and made it easier for visitors to understand:

  • Event dates and hours
  • Ticketing information
  • Food and entertainment highlights
  • Festival activities
  • Location and parking details
  • Sponsorship and community information

The visual direction was designed to feel lively, welcoming, and authentic while giving the festival a more professional platform for its marketing efforts.

Paid Media Strategy

Sage planned and managed the festival’s paid digital advertising campaign.

Advertising campaigns were developed to reach both existing festival supporters and new audiences throughout the Las Vegas market. The campaigns promoted the food, entertainment, community atmosphere, and overall festival experience while directing users toward advance ticket purchasing.

Campaign performance was monitored and adjusted as the event approached, allowing advertising investment to become increasingly focused on the audiences and creative assets generating the strongest response.

Video and Social Content

We coordinated the development of video content specifically designed for social media and paid advertising.

Rather than relying exclusively on static graphics or general event announcements, the campaign used engaging video creative to show prospective attendees what they could expect from the festival.

This gave the advertising a more authentic and energetic feel while helping the festival stand out in crowded social media feeds.

Influencer Campaign

Sage identified and coordinated local influencers who could introduce the event to relevant Las Vegas audiences.

We helped organize influencer experiences and events, facilitated the creation of social content, and incorporated the resulting material into the broader promotional strategy.

This provided the festival with additional third-party credibility and expanded its reach beyond its existing audience.

Ticketing and Audience Development

Advance ticketing became an important part of the strategy.

The campaign moved the festival from essentially zero advance ticket sales the previous year to substantial presale activity. This created revenue before the event began and provided a stronger indication of expected attendance.

For the next phase of the campaign, all ticketing will be consolidated through Givebutter. This will allow the festival to collect significantly more attendee information and develop a long-term audience database.

Sage is also implementing SMS outreach to previous attendees, creating opportunities to promote future festivals directly to people who have already demonstrated an interest in attending.

The Results

The campaign produced a major increase in both attendance and advance ticket sales.

  • Increased attendance from approximately 12,000 people to an estimated 25,000–30,000 attendees
  • More than doubled overall festival attendance
  • Generated substantial advance ticket sales after producing virtually no presales the previous year
  • Significantly increased the festival’s net income
  • Expanded awareness through paid media, video content, and influencer partnerships
  • Established a stronger digital foundation for future festival growth
  • Began building an owned audience of past ticket buyers and attendees

The most important result was not simply one successful festival. Sage helped create a repeatable digital marketing system that can become more valuable each year.

By consolidating ticketing, collecting attendee information, and developing SMS and digital remarketing audiences, the festival will be able to begin future promotional campaigns with thousands of previous attendees already available to contact.
